If you haven’t had the opportunity to come to Homer Alaska, we are located at the “end of the road”, spilling out into Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet, 220 miles south of Anchorage. Homer is known as “The Cosmic hamlet by the sea” and once you’ve been here, you understand why. Homer is also known as “the halibut capital of the world” and, that too, is proven true if you’ve ever seen a 300 pound fish hanging by its tail Our home is often referred to as the crown jewel of the state, and its beauty is defined by the land and seascape of the area. From hiking to kayaking to surfing to birding, you can find plenty of activity to work up a thirst. If you still need a reason to visit Homer, then beer could be what brings you. Open since 1996, Homer Brewing Company has been welcoming both locals and visitors to the brewery most every day, year-round, after noon. |
